Last Thursday, CSIM held the 4th Strategic Immersion Day, #InmoDate, at Oller del Mas — an event dedicated to reflecting and debating on the future of the real estate sector.
Under the motto “more talent > more future”, this edition focused on talent management and how the lack of it affects the daily operations of our member companies.
With the participation of more than a hundred professionals, the event began with welcome remarks from Javier Pérez del Pulgar Clavell, president of the cluster, and Patrícia Remiro, CSIM cluster manager. Both emphasized the importance of placing talent at the center of the sector’s strategy, highlighting the urgency of attracting and developing profiles prepared to face present and future challenges.
The event was structured around two main blocks: More talent > (Problem) and > More future (Solution).
In the first block, we gave voice to our members through a video led by Eduard Comunidades, where they directly shared their needs, their views, and how the issue affects their organizations.
Next, we enjoyed the round table “2 generations, 1 shared challenge”, moderated by Noemí Garcia and featuring three key figures from the sector: Andrea Pastor, Marta de Llauder, and Cathy Paredes.
After the coffee break, we began the second block, focused on solutions. A new video brought us the perspective of young people, explaining what they expect from the job market and revealing that even today our sector and the services we offer to buildings remain largely unknown.
We then held a collaborative workshop to explore concrete actions we can start implementing today: what we should stop doing, what we should start doing, and how we can reimagine the sector to attract and develop young talent.
The event concluded with an inspiring keynote delivered by Sergi Grimau, who filled us with ability, energy, and motivation to face new challenges.
